That, while he was being investigated for ethics violations, he answered any questions regarding that ongoing investigation the same way, which was CLEARLY what his lawyer told him to say (and EVERY person in that room would have answered that question the same way - AND THEY KNOW IT! I CAN'T STAND Hypocrisy). That he spoke French? In a bilingual country within the French speaking province? Anyone who's ACTUALLY CANADIAN, and therefore somewhat familiar with Quebec language laws, knows they are very specific (like French must come first and be a specific size bigger on signs - businesses weren't ALLOWED to use English at all on signs, once upon a time - idiotic, and any business with more than 5 employees, must conduct their business in French - also idiotic, and the reason various HUGE companies like Bank of Montreal all moved their headquarters from Quebec, taking all those jobs with them; idiot French politicians), so he may have been required to speak French. But even if he wasn't, it was definitely the proper/politic move for any Canadian politician. So saying that it is an arrogant move on Trudeau's part is ridiculous and uninformed. Quebec is VERY (overly) sensitive when it comes to using the French language in Quebec. Although I am personally tired of certain groups in Canada wanting all the good parts of Canada, but none of the bad - screw that; I'm tired of it. I'm fair, but that isn't fair, and neither is this video. I am pissed that I'm being forced to defend Justin when there are many things I don't like about him. Although I don't think we should have actively pursued arresting people, I don't agree with legalizing the current pot, considering that we don't have any long-term studies on it. The THC levels in pot have been engineered to go from 4 (the old pot in the 60's & 70's) to levels of 30 and over, while the mellowing CBD levels, which ALSO used to be 4, have now been engineered out completely in most pot. Every person I know who does pot is most DEFINITELY addicted to it, to the point that it is destroying some of their lives (in the case of my one brother, it is a benefit, because it doesn't affect him as negatively as alcohol). It should not have been legalized without long-term studies via those receiving medical marijuana. They also did not consider living situations, like apartments or even worse, shared houses - had they considered that, they would have thought about laws regarding the disturbance of other's living spaces by the smell of pot (which actually can hurt me, due to it's phosphorous binding). I'm worried he legalized it for his own personal purposes. I am not happy with the immigration policy (or lack thereof) of the current Liberal Party (which is supposed to be middle of the road, but is now very left leaning - TOO far left and too PC). I would normally NEVER vote for anyone who is a religious zealot, which definitely leaves out Jagmeet Singh (if you MUST follow the rules of your religion, you are a zealot). Andrew Scheer might also be one, but I'll have to look into that (but they are they only party I know of that wants to stop this overly extreme open door immigration policy). Immigration must be done slowly, when it's not, the corruption from those countries comes with them (which is happening now). Our way of life is changing because we are being forced to change OUR laws to fit other people's religion, and that's bullshit! I don't think ANY law should be altered for religion - ANY religion. If you want to work for the police, or be a prison guard, and you won't wear the full uniform for religious purposes, than don't become a cop or prison guard. Do you think those countries would alter their laws for you? I guarantee the answer is no. We are getting more honour killings, and we are letting in LARGE GROUPS of misogynistic men from these countries (I have personally experienced this myself BECAUSE of having to live with roommates because real estate prices are jacked up beyond the point of reason). The worst was a person from Nigeria, who was perfectly polite until a women told him to clean up his own mess or wouldn't do what he wanted (he got aggressive with me twice, until I told him I was calling the cops the next time and pressing charges - another woman ended up getting a restraining order on him, but he was not the only one. I am worried about what will happen to our laws, if people guilty of so-called "honour killings" are able to get away with it because the jury is filled with people who think honour killings and stoning women are okay. That is only one reason why it must be slow and steady immigration, not this random open-door policy, and not people who will just come onto the system. Focus on the corruption at the federal level, specifically when it comes to building anything. There is corruption by various levels of government, as well as the actual contractors. Billions and possibly Trillions of corruption. Also look at what Chretien did. He managed to get us out of a massive deficit (by the first Trudeau, Justin's father) from $38.53 billion (and that's only ONE year) up to a surplus of $19.81 billion 6 years later, going up every year. Only to plunged into an even greater deficit of $60.75 billion by Stephen Harper, although that was also during the Great Recession of the USA (2008-2009) which pulled down our economy as well. We need to make it STANDARD that we have surpluses in a booming economy, and make paying off the debt a priority - we NEED it! I receive disability for some major health problems that have destroyed my life, but I also know that a province/country that doesn't watch it's bottom line, ends up in bankruptcy, and a country in bankruptcy, has no social programs at all.
